Movement of animals along the surface of an irregular globe mesh
For this project, we wanted to create a world that guests could easily get into and understand without any instruction, and decided on an AR globe where guests could plant and grow trees and flowers to populate an empty canvas.
We were interested in allowing guests to create something unique and encourage them to explore, while leveraging on the platform and its hand-tracking capabilities.
When designing the world, we decided on a globe interface as it allowed for elements to "peek" over the horizon and serve as breadcrumbs for guests, and the three-dimensional shape of the globe suggests movement and inquiry of the entire surface.
